Down one side of the park there is a meandering trout stream, ideal for fishermen of all ages, but if fishing is too strenuous you can sit and watch the water flow and feed the ducks.

The beach at Porth is ideal for families - very wide with lots of room to build the biggest and best sandcastles and then to explore the many rock pools. Porth beach is regarded as one of the safest beaches for swimming in the Newquay Area.
